Two months old

Kennedy is doing so well! We are so excited to see the changes taking place in her. She is tracking, grasping objects, talking with us, smiling, truly recognizing our faces, rolling from front to back, sleeping for 4-5 hour stretches and eating 4-5 ounces at her biggest feeding of the day.

She is 10 pounds now and finally big enough to fit in her cloth diapers. We have been using those exclusively now and finally like them! It was a big transition for all of us, but think of the money they will save!

This month we had our birthing class reunion. It was sad to see that we were the only couple who ended up with a natural childbirth. We feel very fortunate, but hearing their stories made me realize that I could just as easily be in their position next time.

Kenna visited the pool several times with friends. She has yet to get in the water, but she loves to be outside. She has been on lots of walks while momma tries to shed the pregnancy pounds.

I took her to school yesterday to start room prep! Since the school year is gearing up, we have been searching for a part time nanny. We meet a candidate this week!

She met Aaron's family that she hadn't met before. Uncle Jon, cousin Daniel and cousin heather were all at a family BBQ so Kenna met them.

This month, she seemed more fussy and we think we linked it to a food sensitivity to dairy. No ice cream for me :(

She is getting more curious about what she sees. She noticed the ceiling fan and stared at it for a long time! She is so much happier, loves to play with certain toys like her black bunny. She still doesn't love tummy time, but is getting stronger. She loves to cuddle with us and is so sweet when she coes and tells us stories!

  2. Awe, reminds me of all the fun I had taking my girls pictures when they were little and how every thing they do is worth celebrating.
